Universidad Tecmilenio
With 29 campuses in 25 cities across Mexico, the Universidad Tecmilenio is a private university that prepares students for meaningful employment. It is part of the prestigious Tecnológico de Monterrey system.
Tecmilenio’s unusual and flexible program focuses on the happiness and fulfillment of its students, and the new visual identity embodies this idea of individual aspiration. The overall shape evokes many relevant associations: the individual, divergent paths each student takes, an abstract tree suggesting growth and renewal, and the letter T.
Before and After
The mark also maintains continuity with the university’s visual tradition, as it is an evolution from the previous design, which had similar lines and overall structure. The color palette of green and blue has historically differentiated Tecmilenio within the broader university field. Both of these colors have been made deeper in this updated visual identity to emphasize the seriousness and authority of the institution.
